VA to Hold Vietnam War Commemoration Program

As part of the Welcome Home event, all United States Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of location, will be presented with an official Vietnam War Commemoration lapel pin.

The Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System and Muskogee VA Regional Office will hold a Vietnam War Commemoration Program on April 20 to honor the service and sacrifice of our Vietnam Veterans.

The program will be held at 2 p.m. during the Tulsa Mayor’s Veterans Committee meeting at the VFW Post 577, located at 1109 E. 6th Street in Tulsa. The ceremony and Tulsa Mayor’s Veteran’s Committee meeting are open to the public.

As part of the Welcome Home event, all United States Veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of location, will be presented with an official Vietnam War Commemoration lapel pin.

VA representatives will also be on-hand to assist Veterans with a variety of topics, to include: claims for benefits and health care enrollment. Representatives from Veteran Service Organizations will also be on-hand to offer services and assistance.

The Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System and Muskogee VA Regional Office are both official Commemorative Partners of The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration.
