Local Patient Access Data
Regularly updated patient access data is available for all VA Medical Centers and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics including average wait times, number of patients waiting for a scheduled appointment and number of patients that cannot be scheduled for an appointment in 90 days or less. At the Jack C. Montgomery VAMC, we have established a number of procedures to assist you in getting an appointment without a long delay. Our goals are simple:
- you should be able to see your primary care provider within one to two business days
- you should have faster access to speciality care
If you have received a letter stating that you need to make an appointment, please call the medical center at (918) 577-3000 (or toll free at 1-888-397-8387). If you are a Ernest Childers VA Outpatient Clinic (Tulsa) patient, please call (918) 628-2500 (or toll free 888-398-8387). Then enter the extension number of the clinic or team from the list below.

Changing Your Appointment
For a listing of your currrent appointments, please call the medical center at (918) 577-3918. Patients in the Tulsa local calling area should call (918) 628-2500, extension 3918. Patients outside the Muskogee and Tulsa local calling areas should use our toll free number 1-888-397-8387, then enter extension 3918.
If you cannot keep an existing appointment, please contact us as soon as you are aware you cannot make your appointment. This will allow us to reschedule you sooner as well as schedule one of your fellow Veterans for the original appointment date and time.
