Ribbon Cutting/Open House Held for Newly Redesigned Women Veterans Clinic

The Ernest Childers VA Outpatient Clinic is celebrating its newly redesigned Women Veterans Clinic with a ribbon cutting and open house on April 18 at 1 p.m. The clinic is located at 9322 E. 41st St.

“Women veterans are the fastest growing group within the veteran population,” said Mark E. Morgan, director for the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System. “This additional Primary Care team will allow us to increase the number of women veterans we can serve and be able to provide their health care in a timely manner.”

The redesign adds a second primary care team, two additional exam rooms, and a second nursing exam room. There are currently 1,400 women veterans enrolled in the Tulsa clinic. To schedule an appointment, please call the Primary Care Call Center at 1-888-397-8387.

If you are interested in enrolling for VA health care, please contact the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care’s Business Office at 1-888-397-8387, ext. 1535, or visit our website at https://www.muskogee.va.gov/patients/eligibility.asp.
