Veterans Affairs Hosts Town Hall & Resource Fair

MUSKOGEE – The Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System (EOVAHCS) and the Muskogee VA Regional Benefits Office will host a Veterans Town Hall meeting and resource fair on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 beginning at 10 am at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in McCurtain County.
The town hall will serve as an open forum for Veterans and a listening session for VA leadership, with the goal of ensuring Veterans, their families, and beneficiaries have the opportunity to be heard, and have their concerns addressed by senior VA officials.
Additionally, representatives from the health care system and regional benefits office will be on-hand to provide information and assist Veterans with a variety of topics, to include: health care enrollment, claims for benefits, eBenefits and much more.
EOVAHCS will also hold a Vietnam War Commemoration Program to honor the service and sacrifice of our Vietnam Veterans. As part of the program, Veterans will be presented with an official Vietnam War Commemoration lapel pin. EOVAHCS is an official Commemorative Partner of The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration.
The town hall and resource fair is open to the public, including Veterans, family members or other beneficiaries, as well as Congressional stakeholders, Veterans Service Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and community partners.
No registration is required and the event is free to attend.
