VA Medical Center to Host Welcome Home Event at Tulsa Talons Game

The Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center (JCMVAMC) will host a Welcome Home Celebration for Veterans and military members at a Tulsa Talons game on Saturday, July 16.

The game will be held at the BOk Center, located at 200 S. Denver in Tulsa. Kick-off is at 7 p.m. and doors will open at 5 p.m.

Veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserve troops can get a FREE ticket to the game at the door with a military or VA ID.  Veterans and military members will also receive a voucher for a FREE drink and hot dog.

Tickets for family members or non-Veterans can be obtained for $7.00 or $11.00 with a meal voucher at the ticket window.
Veterans and military members can also park for FREE at First Baptist Church in Tulsa, which is located at 403 S. Cincinnati Ave.  Please show your military or VA ID to parking lot attendants.  FREE Shuttle service will be available.

JCMVAMC will also hold a reception for Veterans and military members from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the BOk Center.  At this time, Veterans and military members can learn more about VA health care and benefits from VA staff.

Co-sponsors for the Welcome Home Celebration include the Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, Direct TV, Glacier Confection, Gold’s Gym and the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma.
